College

As my senior year comes to a close, I begin to look forward to college more and more.  I've enjoyed my time at Profile and enjoyed making many friends, but in all honesty, I can't wait to move on and go to college.  I'm excited about going to Northeastern and being in Boston.  There will certainly always be something to do, unlike Franconia where keeping boredom at bay is a constant battle.  I'm also excited to be in a new learning environment, and I believe Northeastern will provide me with endless opportunities to further my knowledge in engineering and prepare myself for a successful future.

Another aspect of college that I'm looking forward to is the opportunity to be independent.  I believe I will enjoy the freedom to create my own schedule, take care of myself, and live on my own.  At first it will definitely be a challenge because I'm naturally a lazy person, but I will enjoy the independence.  I also look forward to meeting new people and making a whole new group of friends.

The only thing I'm skeptical about right now is my roommate.  I have yet to find out who my roommate is, but I hope that I get a roommate that I can stand living with and hopefully someone that I can become good friends with.  All in all, college is going to be a new experience for me, but I'm hoping it will be a fun and exciting experience.  I'm looking forward to taking the next step in my life and going to college.  But of course I'm going to enjoy this upcoming summer first...

  2. I can agree with most of this. Especially the Boston part, because I'll be so close. But you seem more confident with being alone and independent than I am, I'm nervous for that.
